Lorna Callery-Sithole
Lorna Callery-Sithole is an award-winning, working-class, multi-disciplinary poet, visual artist, storyteller, and Slam Champion from Pollok, whose work has appeared in Magma, Glasgow Review of Books, New Writing Scotland, Best Scottish Poems, and Causeway/Cabhsair.
Lorna’s poetry is about unsilence and includes themes such as class, poverty, gang culture, racism, enslavement, grief, love, motherhood, disability, and mental health.
She is the author of four poetry collections: 'Pigeon with Warburtons' (Speculative Books, 2019), 'Colour Theory' (Dreich, 2022), 'Facing Our Past: Shining the Light' (National Trust for Scotland, 2022), and ‘the girl with heaven in her hair’ (Art Riot Press, 2027).
Commissioned storytelling shows include ‘Inheritance’ (the Village Storytelling Festival 2024) and ‘Slaver Nation’(Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2025).
Alongside partner-in-rhyme Wendy Miller, she co-founded ‘Versaye!’ spoken word cabaret in 2023, promoting emerging talent alongside established writers. She is an Off-Page visual poetry collective alumni and is an Open Book Lead Reader at HMP YOI Polmont and HMP Barlinnie. She has held residencies at the National Trust for Scotland and HMYOI Polmont.
Lorna established the award-winning Art Riot Studio in April 2025 providing visual art, performance, and poetry classes to children and adults in Paisley. In June 2026 she launched Art Riot Press, an inclusive platform for bold new work from emerging and established writers and artists across Scotland and beyond.

Wendy Miller
Wendy Miller is a poet, playwright, lecturer, and guitarist in two Glasgow bands, the Caretakers and the Herratics.
With a Masters In Playwriting from the University of Edinburgh, her most recent play, Ghosts Of Protest was performed at Leith Depot (Nov 25) whilst her others plays have included The Strike, Herta, and Losterity.
Wendy is the author of two poetry pamphlets to date, I am Fire (2018) and In Love With My Accountant (New Voices Press, 2009). Her poetry has also been published by Gutter and New Writing Scotland. She is working on her first full collection which will be published by Art Riot Press in 2027.
Together with partner-in-rhyme Lorna Callery-Sithole, Wendy is one half of monthly music and poetry night, Versaye, which is now three years old.
She is one of the artists participating in this year’s Off-Page exhibition at Many Studios which aims to disrupt conventional boundaries in the space between visual art and poetry.
Former Journalist Wendy is an Editor for Art Riot Press, helping to read through submissions and get manuscripts ready for publication.
Wendy lives in Govanhill with her partner Gillian, son Edwyn and Rio the spaniel.

Jen Collier
Jen Collier is an illustrator and socially engaged artist. Her work focuses on bold compositions using shape, colour and balance, creating covers that respond closely to the tone and texture of each text.
Alongside her illustration practice, Jen leads participatory arts projects in community and education settings. Her facilitation centres on collaboration, access and co-creation, supporting people to explore ideas through making.
Her work is driven by an interest in clear, thoughtful visual language and direct connection with audiences.
